(Auburn Hills, MI)  --  Fiat Chrysler Automobiles executives have a new five-year business plan.  CEO Sergio Marchionne says the company will produce several new vehicles over the next five years and plans to more than double Chrysler brand sales by 2018.

The Dodge Caravan minivan will be eliminated in favor of the Chrysler Town & Country minivan and the Dodge Avenger will also be discontinued.  The automaker plans to vastly increase Jeep sales and will spend seven-billion dollars to make the Alfa-Romeo brand a global product with eight new models.
