(San Antonio, TX)  --  SeaWorld Entertainment says its three parks made more money last year than ever in its 50-year history.

Officials say attendance at the marine parks in San Antonio, Orlando and San Diego set records in the fourth quarter of September through December.

That's despite the fierce backlash the parks faced from the documentary "Blackfish" about the deaths of three individuals at the hands of killer whales in captivity.

Officials of the newly public company say they expect to post annual revenue earnings of close to $1.5 million dollars in their quarterly report in March.
