(Undated)  --  Schools in the South dominate the latest list of Best Value public colleges.  The annual rankings by the Princeton Review show southern schools holding the top four spots.

The University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill leads the list, followed by the New College of Florida-Sarasota, University of Virginia, North Carolina State, University of Michigan, UCLA, University of Florida, College of William and Mary, Truman State University-Kirksville, Missouri, and State University of New York-Binghamton.

The Northeast rules when it comes to private colleges, with Williams College of Williamstown, Massachusetts first.  Followed by Harvard, Swarthmore, Yale, and Princeton.  Claremont, California's Pomona College, at number ten, is the only private school outside the Northeast to make the list.
