The CEO of Starbucks is announcing a $30 million gift to help veterans coming home from the war in Afghanistan.

Howard Schultz tells CBS News he fears Americans may forget about the needs of the millions of veterans who have served, especially when it comes to job training.

Schultz says part of the money will also go toward more research into the effects of Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, which impact a staggering number of soldiers.

Starbucks also plans to hire ten-thousand veterans or their spouses over the next five years.
