Arizona Corporation Commissioner Resigning

(Phoenix, AZ)  --  Arizona Corporation Commissioner Doug Little announces he's resigning.  He's accepted a job in Washington, D.C. with the U.S. Department of Energy.  He'll serve as  deputy assistant secretary for intergovernmental and external affairs. Little tells the Arizona Capital Times the new position is a once in a lifetime deal.   Little was elected to the corporation commission back in 2014. And despite concerns about dark money spending and utility influence at the council, Little said he loved the job and wasn’t leaving because of any problems with the commission.  Little says he hopes Governor Ducey appoints someone with energy or water experience as his replacement.
