Record Enrollment at ASU

(Phoenix, AZ)  --  Arizona State University has set a new enrollment record for the school.  More than 100-thousand students are going to ASU this semester.  That's about 5 percent more than last year and 40 percent more than five years ago.  On-line classes play a big part.  About 30-thousand students this semester are enrolled on-line only. Most of the rest of the students attend classes at one of five campuses around the valley.  Tempe is by far the largest ASU campus with more than 51-thousand students.  AZ Central reports ASU is on track to reach the goal, set by the Arizona Board of Regents, of 125-thousand students by the year 2025.
