AZ Supreme Court Rules Medical Marijuana Legal

Arizona's Medical Marijuana Act is legal, according to the Arizona Supreme Court.  The high court is refusing to review an appeals court ruling that says even though marijuana is illegal under federal law, that doesn't stop the state from legalizing pot for some uses.

Maricopa County Attorney Bill Montgomery was among those arguing that federal law trumps state law, so Arizona's voter-approved medical marijuana law is null and void.  The Appeals Court disagreed, and the Supreme Court is letting that ruling stand.
