Tucson Group Sends 21-Foot Cactus To Amazon's CEO

As Amazon decides where to place their second headquarters, a Tucson group is hoping the company will take a look at Southern Arizona. Sun Corridor Inc loaded up a 21-foot Saguaro cactus on a truck yesterday and are delivering it to Amazon CEO Jeff Bezos.

Amazon says the new headquarters will come with 50,000 new jobs and around $5-billion of investment over the next 10-15 years. Cities and states have an October 19th deadline to submit proposals to the company. Amazon's second North American home will be seen as a "full equal" to the company's Seattle headquarters. A decision is expected in 2018.
