The trial of two former Phoenix Suns players accused of assault is expected to get underway today. Marcus and Markieff Morris are accused of beating up a 36-year-old man outside a Phoenix recreation center two years ago.
The alleged victim says the brothers punched and kicked him several times, leaving him with a fractured nose, abrasions and a large bump on his head.
Investigators say the twins got upset after the man started sending inappropriate text messages to their mother. Opening statements are expected today and the trial should take about 10 days.
