A new music and food festival with a baseball twist is coming to the Valley. The organizers of Chicago's Lollapalooza announced yesterday that Tempe Beach Park will host the first-ever Innings Festival in March 2018. The three day event will feature three stages and 36 artists in addition to culinary delights, top chefs, food vendors, family fun and appearances by professional baseball players. The Innings Festival hopes to draw a cross section of both music lovers and baseball fans traveling to the Valley for Arizona's Spring Training Season. Half of Major League Baseball's 30 teams play in Arizona's Cactus League each spring.
