Governor Doug Ducey says he wants to see Washington act on tax cuts by the end of the year, but he's not endorsing the Republican tax plan passed by the House last week.
At a tax cut rally at the state capitol, Ducey said he still doesn't know enough of the specifics of the bill to make that call. Even so, he says it's the right time to make our tax code simpler and fairer.
A couple of dozen of tax cut supporters attended the rally, along with about the same number of protestors who say the Republican tax plan favors corporations and the wealthy.
