A man is dead after getting shot at a toy drive in Phoenix. The shooting happened during the Families First Arizona toy drive and car show at Desert West Park near 67th Avenue and Thomas Road Sunday.
Witnesses say they heard about ten gunshots just minutes after the event started. Officials say the event has been held at the park for several years but was shutdown after gunshots rang out leaving a 27 year old man dead.
Police arrested 26-year-old Miguel Flores after witnesses recognized the suspected shooter. Flores and the victim are said to have known each other.
