The Phoenix City Council is unanimously approving a plan to name Sky Harbor's Terminal Three after Arizona Senator John McCain.
The proposal was put to a vote Wednesday night and now only requires approval from the Heritage Commission which will meet in December.
Terminal Three is currently receiving a 590-million dollar face-lift that should be done by 2020.
Sky Harbor's Terminal Four is named after former Arizona Senator and presidential candidate Barry Goldwater.
