Ex-Boyfriend Of Missing Mom Charged With Murder

Phoenix police say a body believed to be that of a young mother who went missing after her infant daughter was found abandoned has been discovered and the woman's ex-boyfriend has been arrested.

Police say a burned body discovered near 107th Avenue and Camelback is believed to be 21-year-old Jasmine Dunbar, who went missing Tuesday night when she and her seven-month-old daughter were last seen leaving with her ex-boyfriend, 20-year-old Antwaun Ware, to get a paternity test.

Sgt. Jonathan Howard says the child was found abandoned in a car seat after people called reporting seeing the child in the area of 83rd Avenue and Thomas.

Ware, was located and brought in for questioning by police.  Based on evidence gathered, Ware was arrested for one count of first-degree murder, kidnapping, abandonment of a body, and child abuse. He's been booked into Maricopa County Jail.

Official identification of the discovered body is pending for scientific analysis.
