An Arizona lawmaker wants to help prevent suicide. State Representative Mitzi Epstein wants to re-instate a full-time Suicide Prevention Coordinator to AHCCS.
The position was eliminated during the recession and Epstein says suicide rates in the state have increased.
She's pressing legislative leaders and Governor Doug Ducey to include the position in the state budget.
