A 12-year-old girl is dead after she was hit by a car at the intersection of 59th Avenue and Indian School Road early this morning.
According to police the vehicle did not stop after the collision and left the scene. The girl was taken to a hospital where she later died.
Police are asking for help to find the driver. Anyone with information is asked to call Silent Witness at 480-WITNESS.
