Proposition 123 appears to be working. The Phoenix Business Journal says the initiative passed by voters in 2016 to provide funding for Arizona schools has generated nearly 900 million dollars since becoming law.
Prop 123 increased public school funding largely by drawing on money from the state's land trust fund.
As of July 31, the trust fund had a value of just over six-billion dollars.
