McDonald's To Modernize 200 Arizona Restaurants

McDonald's is spending $120-million to modernize and renovate 200 restaurants here in Arizona this year and next.

The Phoenix Business Journal says the new amenities will include modernized dining rooms, new furniture, digital self-order kiosks and digital menu boards for drive-thru.

The $120-million dollar investment is for Arizona only.  However, the company is spending up to six-billion dollars to renovate restaurants in other states with a target completion date of 2020.

Some have expressed concern the self-serve kiosks will kill jobs, but McDonald's says that's not the case.
