(Glendale, AZ) -- Glendale Police say a gun was found in the backpack of an elementary school student. It happened as classes were letting out today at Glendale American Elementary School. A school district spokesman said a student told a teacher a gun was seen in the backpack of another student. The teacher cleared the classroom and the backpack was taken to the school office. Police say an eleven-year-old girl admitted she brought the gun to school on a dare by another student. Both police and the school district say no students were in danger.
