Biggs Applauds Wetlands Rollback Proposal

Andy Biggs

(Washington, DC)  --  The Trump administration is proposing a massive rollback of Obama-era protections to America's wetlands and waterways.  The proposal signed today would limit the definition of what kind of waterways fall under federal protection by the Clean Water Act.  Arizona Republican Congressman Andy Biggs calls it a step in the right direction, saying it will make it easier for farmers and other landowners to get the water they need without going through a lot of government red tape.  The proposal will likely face a number of lawsuits from environmental groups before becoming law.
