Arizona Junior College Football Is Now Extinct

Another one bites the dust as junior college football in Arizona becomes extinct.  Eastern Arizona College was the only junior college football program left in the state after Arizona Western College announced last week it was ending its program.  

The Graham County college citing financial considerations and the collapse of the Western States Football League for the decision.  

Earlier this year, the Maricopa County Community College District started the collapse of Arizona junior college football when they announced they would kill their programs.  

The moves come after the state removed millions in funding for junior colleges.
