Senator Flake Tries Again For Mueller Bill

Arizona Republican Senator Jeff Flake makes what is likely his last attempt to get the Special Counsel Independence and Integrity Act to the floor of the senate.

The bill passed the Senate Judiciary Committee in April by a bipartisan vote of 14-7.  The bill was blocked again by an objection from Majority Leader Mitch McConnell.

Flake did not seek re-election and will be succeeded by Democrat Kyrsten Sinema early next month.
