Arizona Senator John McCain appears to take a shot at President Trump during an interview with CSPAN3.
McCain saying, "We drafted the lowest income level of America and the highest income level found a doctor that would say that they had a bone spur. That is wrong. That is wrong." During the Vietnam War, Donald Trump received five deferrals. One of the deferrals was for bone spurs.
The verbal sparring between McCain and Trump dates back to at least 2015. At a campaign rally in Arizona in July of that year then candidate Trump said 'he likes people who weren't captured.' Of course, McCain spent five and a half years as a Prisoner Of War during Vietnam. The verbal jabs have continues on and off since.
