Former Head of Valley Opioid Company Sued

A Valley billionaire is the focus of a lawsuit by the New Jersey Attorney General.  John Kapoor, the founder and former CEO of Insys Therapeutics is being sued for endangering the public.  His company is accused of unlawfully marketing the opioid pain-relief drug Subsys. The suit comes one day after Kapoor pleaded non guilty in a federal court on charges that include wire and mail fraud and racketeering.  The New Jersey suit claim state employee health-benefit plans paid more than 10-million dollars for Subsys prescription reimbursements.
