A Phoenix cop could face some disciplinary actions after having his car broken into in Glendale.
The officer's handgun, ammunition and handcuffs were ripped off recently and now the department has launched an internal investigation.
The car was broken into near 51st and Peoria Avenues and investigators want to know if any mistakes were made. They also are trying to figure out why anyone was able to access the officer's equipment, and why it was left in the car in the first place.
Officials say at the very least the officer will need to buy replacements.
