Phoenix Police Chief Jeri Williams says she supports policies that allow undocumented immigrants who entered the U.S. as children to remain in the country lawfully.
Williams is one of 18 law enforcement leaders nationwide that are part of a lawsuit aimed at preserving the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals program.
Chief Williams tells the "Arizona Republic" this is not a political statement, rather she says it's just the right thing to do.
