Lawmaker Wants To Relax Food Truck Rules

An Arizona lawmaker wants to make it easier for food trucks to operate.  Republican Representative Kevin Payne of Glendale, who owns a food truck himself, is sponsoring a bill that would relax some of the rules governing them.

The bill would create a statewide food truck license to get rid of the red tape in addition to easing the restrictions on where they can park and what hours they can operate.

There is no conflict of interest because Payne's bill, if adopted, would benefit many others, not just him.
