These are the women who set trends in The Valley. They help residents in need and represent a growing number of successful female talent around the country and at iHeartMedia Phoenix.

Beth McDonald - 99.9 KEZ

Beth is an Indiana University graduate who moved to Phoenix to be a reporter with KTAR.  She left radio for a couple years to start a family before Beth becoming the co-host on 99.9 KEZ.  After her eighth male host either left or was fired, Beth asked the GM for the chance to “be the guy” and take the lead position on the show.  Beth became one of the first women in the country to host a major market morning show.   She was partnered with Bill Austin for the “Beth and Bill” show that enjoyed a 20 year run until Bill’s death in 2010.  The show, “Beth & Friends” continues to dominate the market in her 32nd year and is the official kickoff to Christmas music each holiday season on 99.9 KEZ.

Kyle Unfug - 104.7 KISS FM

Kyle is a Colorado born, Arizona State University Walter Cronkite School of Broadcast Journalism graduate. She began her radio career as an intern at 104.7 KISSFM and quickly fell in love with the art of radioDrawn to the healing power of music, with a passion for helping people, and a thirst to master the business, Kyle moved up quickly and found herself co-hosting nights on 104.7 KISSFM. Her electric and one-of-a-kind personality got the attention of the syndicated JOHNJAY AND RICH SHOW, who asked her to join the team. In 2008, she joined the show and has earned her place as one of the nations most beloved, talked about and followed personalities on the radio. In addition to radio, Kyle is an accomplished TV host, seen on Your Life Arizona and can be seen around town donating her time to charity.

Double L - 102.5 KNIX

“Double-L”, or Lois Lewis, is an Arizona native who graduated at the top of her class (High School Valedictorian; Magna Cum Laude at Arizona State University). As a freshman at ASU, she began working at KNIX. Her love of music brought her to the record industry where she helped launch the careers of Florida-Georgia Line and Brett Young. She uses her connections in Nashville and electric personality to introduce the hottest new acts to Valley country music fans on the #1 rated Country radio station, 102.5 KNIX.  She also has a leadership role as the Assistant Program Director where she helps lead and design the programming.

Suzette - 104.7 KISS FM

Arizona born Suzette has a love for music and a dedicated work ethic that has helped launch her career in radio before graduating the University of Arizona. Shortly after starting with iHeartMedia, she quickly earned her own prime-time Afternoon Drive show at Hot 98.3 in Tucson. Her ability to connect with the audience with her unique presentation, provided the opportunity to move to Phoenix and join the Johnjay & Rich Show on 104.7 KISSFM. When she’s not on the air, you can find her podcast on iHeartRadio, called “Raw Talks with Suzette”.

Priscilla - MIX 96.9

Priscilla is a proud Arizona native and loves being involved in organizations that impact her community like The Million Dollar Teacher Project and Adelante Mami.  She’s been the co-host of the morning show on Mix 96.9 for the past 6 years and is regularly at the top of the ratings.  Her anything goes style, mixed with her easy to relate to home life, makes Priscilla a fixture in Phoenix radio. Her mother’s, sacrifice migrating to America from Mexico, makes her live her life with gratitude and feels lucky to be a Mexican girl living the American Dream!

Lady La - 104.7 KISS FM

Known for her voice of reason and warm energy, Lady La has built a career off of one simple philosophy, live every moment with gratitude. Arizona born and raised, she is a part of a small elite who have remained in the same major market for almost 12 years on-air. As devoted as the market has been to her, she is just as devoted to them.  She's become their voice, their friend, as well as one of their biggest supporters. Lady La is genuinely part of the fabric that makes Phoenix such a great city. There are no limits for this adventure seeking, former Sun Devil and current food truck owner.

Brooke - 102.5 KNIX

Brooke is an adventurous, 20-something, navigating her way around The Valley. She graduated from the University of Rhode Island where she played Division I tennis and earned a degree in journalism. She was born and raised in North Carolina, worked on a Top 40 morning show until her sense of adventure brought her to Phoenix two years ago. Her southern roots and love for country music have helped her quickly connect with the Phoenix audience. You can hear Brooke every morning 5-10 A.M. on The Tim, Ben & Brooke Show on 102.5 KNIX.

Melissa Sharpe - 99.9 KEZ

During a decades-long Valley career, she has raised three kids, broadcast live all around the state, won a coveted Marconi radio award and has advocated for several Phoenix charities, like the Lost Our Home Pet Foundation, Debi Gaby Charities and The American Lung Association. Melissa believes life needs a soundtrack, and to her, it's the biggest honor to get to narrate that soundtrack! Hear her on 99.9 KEZ from 10 A.M. to 3 P.M.

Crash Gladys - Fox Sports 910

Crash Gladys was born and raised in Indianapolis, the motorsports capital of the world. She shattered glass ceilings by becoming one of the first (and now longest tenured) female motorsports radio personalities in the country. As well, when she moved to Phoenix in 2013, she became the very first female sports radio personality in the entire state of Arizona. “Crasher” has a relentless desire to break through the typical aspects of her interview subjects and get down to what truly makes them tick. You may have seen her magnetic personality on the sidelines of many sports shows on CBS, NBC Sports, ESPN & MavTV. Crasher never turns down a challenge, which is how she manages several businesses right along with her radio hosting duties. But when she does catch her breath, you may find her on one of her social channels where you can connect with her.

Mary Kennedy - MIX 96.9

From helicopters over Texas, to national voice work, to morning show host, Mary Kennedy has been heard and seen all over America.  In markets like Salt Lake City, Houston, Dallas and now Phoenix.  Mary is the Producer and co-host of the morning show on Mix 96.9 and is heard in Tucson on KMIY.  Mary enjoys working in the community and served as Director of Public Affairs in Houston and Phoenix.  She also has a background in Electronic Engineering Technology and Paralegal Studies.

Hannah - 102.5 KNIX

Hannah is another talent born and raised in Arizona who started her career as an intern with iHeartMedia, proving hard work and dedication pay off. While working in multiple departments, learning as much as she could, Hannah took an opportunity to co-host the nationally syndicated show Country House Party on 102.5 KNIX. Now heard on over 80 stations across the country, Hannah is building her profile as both a talent and programming assistant.  She works with Program Directors on a daily basis and manages multiple projects behind the scenes that are pivotal to the success of each brand.

Ashley Footer - 104.7 KISS FM

Ashley Footer is a girl who grew up getting in trouble for being “too loud” and talking “too much”.  While starting her career as an intern for the Johnjay and Rich Show, she learned those qualities could be put to good use. Her growth with iHeartMedia continues with each passing day.  Her responsibilities have included social media and promotions, but her biggest accomplishment has been earning her own overnight show on KISS FM.  Ashley has even begun learning the programming side of the business, working daily with the Program Directors on KISSFM and Mix 96.9.

Delaney - 104.7 KISS FM

Delaney is an Arizona native and fresh to the radio scene! She received her degree from Arizona State University and was a member of the ASU Spirit Squad. After graduation, she took an internship with the Johnjay & Rich Show and has worked her way to more prominent roles. Today, she’s the Assistant Producer where she writes copy, produces segments and is a regular performer on the show.
