Water officials say Valley residents waste over ten-thousand gallons of water a year because of leaky pipes.
Water Resource Specialist Christian Delgado says the amount of water wasted across the nation, just from leaks, is enough to supply each American home with water for the whole year.
The City of Phoenix is now hosting workshops throughout the week to teach residents how they can conserve, meanwhile urging homeowners to fix those leaks.
