(Chandler, AZ) -- Members of the military are sharing stories about an army brother from Chandler. Alex Conrad was killed by enemy fire in Somalia this past week. The eight-year army vet got shot as four other soldiers were also injured during the attack. His buddies are calling the 26-year-old a brave soldier and a fearless friend. Arizona Governor Doug Ducey ordered state flags to be flown at half-staff today in honor of Conrad. News of the death made it's way to President Trump, who took to Twitter to his thoughts and prayers are with Conrad's family.
