Search Warrant Sought For Johnson Utilities

(Phoenix, AZ)  --  Corporation Commissioner Andy Tobin is calling for an emergency meeting of the Commission to deal with Johnson Utilities.  He wants the Commission to authorize the issuing of a search and seizure warrant.

The utility company is fighting a Corporation Commission order appointing EPCOR as an interim manager to run the company.  Last week, EPCOR vice president Shawn Bradford testified about hazardous and potentially catastrophic environmental conditions at some of Johnson Utilities' facilities. Customers have reported problems with poor water quality, low water pressure, sewage spills, and billing.
