CNN's Chris Cuomo Mocks God, Prayer and Compassion

This is ugly.

CNN's Chris Cuomo mocked those of us who offer thoughts and prayers in the wake of mass shootings, sarcastically taunting anyone who thinks faith in God is the answer to such a human tragedy.

“The only consensus there is, is in a canard and here it is. First, I would like to offer my 'thoughts and prayers,' because that’s what you do when you offer 'thoughts and prayers,'" he said, sneering. "You mock those who lost loved ones, because if you gave it any thought at all, you would never walk away from any of these without figuring out a better way to deal with them."

“And prayer? You think leaving it to God is the answer? We pray for strength, we pray for wisdom, for resolve, but we clearly don’t want to act on any of those here,” he continued. “So what are you praying for?”

“What would it take? how about a stadium full of children of the most influential people in our society all holding puppies? What if they were all shot and killed? Would we act?”

Wow. As I watch Chris Cuomo mock prayer and mock God in this sick monolog, I can honestly tell you that I felt disturbed. The Left worships government over God, that's all to clear. They don’t believe in evil and therefore think they call control behavior. And there it is...

Liberals believe that Christians beliefs have no place in our society. The arrogant Chris Cuomo really believes that he is speaking on behalf of victims, on behalf of grieving families. There are many families and friends that rely on faith and the very thoughts and prayers that Cuomo cavalierly mocks.

No worries. Christians will continue to do what we do even as the persecution comes. And that is what this is, persecution. Chris Cuomo doesn’t know Jesus. If he did he would not indulge in blasphemy. CNN is on thin ice. God will not be mocked.

Not everyone agreed with Cuomo.
