Ducey Sued Over Filling U.S. Senate Seat

There's a lawsuit over filling the U.S. Senate seat formerly held by John McCain.  The lawsuit was filed this week by the former leader of Arizona's Libertarian Party.

He says Arizona laws on dealing with a vacancy in the U.S. Senate are unconstitutional.  The lawsuit claims there needs to be a special election within six months because having an open seat filled by an appointee until the 2020 election is taking rights away from Arizona voters.

Governor Doug Ducey is named in the suit who appointed Jon Kyl to McCain's former seat.
