Sheriff's Office Gets Grant For DUI Enforcement

The Maricopa County Sheriff's Office gets some extra help with its holiday DUI task force.  It's received a grant from the Governor's Office of Highway Safety for almost $150,000 to help with DUI enforcement.

The money will be used to help with overtime pay and equipment.  The current task force is running from Thanksgiving to the new year.

Last year, a Governor's Office of Highway Safety grant helped fund 61 nights of task force operations through the year.
