Ohio Boy Earns $15,000 At County Fair, Donates All The Money To Charity

A seventh-grader had a great weekend at the Huron County Fair in Ohio, taking home $15,000 from selling livestock, but it's what the young boy did with the money that has everybody talking. Diesel Pippert didn't spend his hard-earned money on video games or new clothes. Instead, he donated all the money to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.

Western Reserve Schools shared the heartwarming story on Facebook, calling Pippert a hero for his selfless act.

"A young man lives amongst us who should be an example to us all. WR 7th grader Diesel Pippert donated all of his livestock premiums to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital today at the Huron County Fair large animal sale. His donation of $15,000 will help to find cures for young children and save lives. Diesel, you are a hero!"
