Tool Announces Spring 2020 North American Tour: See The Dates

2017 The Governors Ball Music Festival - Day 3

Tool is hitting the road this spring.

The band has announced its upcoming North American tour, with their first concert date set for Miami’s American Airlines Arena on April 16 and will culminate at the Chase Center in San Francisco on June 23. What’s more, Blonde Redhead is billed to open for the group from opening night to May 5, with most tickets available for purchase beginning at 10 a.m. local time on February 28, with tickets for dates in South Dakota and St. Louis on-sale starting at noon local time.

Among Tool’s tour itinerary includes stops in Virginia, Washington, Maryland, Michigan, Wisconsin, Oklahoma and elsewhere.

Tool’s latest jaunt will commence just months after the band wraps up their previously announced performances in the States and others overseas, including a pair of gigs at Spark Arena in Australia next week before returning to the States in March for shows in Oregon, Indiana, and Utah from March 11-16.

This new spring concert comes weeks after the rockers earned the Grammy for Best Metal Performance at the 2020 awards ceremony for “7empest,” the 15-minute closing track to the group’s Fear Inoculum LP.
