Sophie Brunner, ASU alum, On Her Journey Back From Italy During Coronavirus

Sophie Brunner was on of ASU's best basketball players. So good, she signed on to play professionally in Italy for a club that plays near Milan. At 24, she's living her dream. Living in Italy. Playing professional basketball. Meeting new friends.

Then the virus struck.

At first, Brunner tells us here on Russell & Hunter she didn't think anything of it. Then the number infected continued to grow and she eventually decided it was time to back to the US. Sophie flew from Milan to Munich to Chicago. At O'Hare airport she waited 5 and a half hours to clear customs.
