Executive Vice President, Arizona Market

Dr. Kevin Tulipana, FHM, serves as Executive Vice President, Arizona Market at Cancer Treatment Centers of America® (CTCA) Phoenix. Dr. Tulipana has a deep experience and passion for clinical quality, patient safety, and physician engagement and leadership. He joined CTCA® in January 2015 as a practicing Hospitalist and has served in several additional roles, including Chief of Staff and Regional Chief Medical Officer.

As a physician and leader, Dr. Tulipana is dedicated to providing compassionate, patient-centered care. He is also finely tuned to both the physical and spiritual needs of patients, serving as an ordained deacon with the Catholic Church.

Dr. Tulipana earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Biology at Truman State University in Kirksville, Missouri. He completed his Doctor of Osteopathy degree at Des Moines University College of Osteopathic Medicine & Surgery. From 2000 to 2003, he was a resident in Family Practice at Mercy/Mayo Family Medical Center, serving as chief resident from 2002 to 2003.

From 2003 to 2010, Dr. Tulipana provided family medical care at a large regional medical center in Missouri. He then served as Hospitalist at a large health-care facility in Oklahoma. During his career, Dr. Tulipana has also held several administrative positions focused on quality improvement, innovation and patient care.Dr. Tulipana is Board Certified in Family Medicine by the American Board of Family Medicine and is a fellow of the Society of Hospital Medicine. In 2018, he earned a Master of Science degree in Bioethics from the University of Mary in Bismarck, North Dakota.

Outside of CTCA, Dr. Tulipana enjoys spending time with his wife and eight children, vocal music, woodworking, hunting and photography.
