Mark Bentz, is the Chief Executive Officer of Red Mountain Weight Loss, a Medical Weightloss practice with (17) locations in Arizona and Texas.
Mark earned his Bachelor of Science in Business from the University of Arizona in 1983. He began his career in radio where he spent 20 years working in a variety of roles including Sales Account Manager, Sales Manager, and then V.P. General Manager of a four station cluster in Tucson. In 2004 he was recruited to help launch 98.7 “The Peak,” a new radio station/format that broke records for ratings and revenue in the Phoenix market.
In 2008, Mark decided to take all that he learned from his radio career into a new business venture, when he became a partner at Red Mountain Med Spa. At the time, Red Mountain had three locations. Mark has been instrumental to the growth of Red Mountain, helping define the brand, by shifting focus to the core discipline of “weight loss.” He co-created RM3, a patented medication (and the hallmark of Red Mountain Weight loss), while propelling expansion by adding new offices in Arizona and Texas.
In 2020, Mark shifted the sales platform for Red Mountain to include online telemedicine services in order to reach a wider range of patients with their weight loss journey. As a CEO and leader, Mark is dedicated to creating and nurturing a unique and dynamic corporate culture focused on changing people’s lives.
Outside of Red Mountain, Mark enjoys spending time with his wife and three children. He loves traveling, fly-fishing, playing golf, and baseball.
