Florida wildlife officials are investigating a video posted Monday that shows a shark being dragged behind a high-speed boat (see below... it's awful, FYI).
Three douchebags in the video, excluding the individual who shot the footage, are seen laughing and smiling as the animal visibly struggles in the boat's wake. One of the men says the shark looks "almost dead."
The video sparks the question: Who are the real monsters of the sea?
Well, we decided to ask an expert. Chris Cameron is an operator at a company based in Jupiter, FL that takes people to dive with sharks without a cage. Shark Addicts was launched to educate the public about finning and culling. Did you know that sharks are irreplaceable components of our seas? AND that 100 million are killed annually? Didn't think so.
