Former UA Coach Claims $7.5M Extortion

The recently fired former head football coach at the University of Arizona says he's the target of a multi-million dollar extortion scheme.  The Arizona Republic reports Attorneys for Rich Rodriguez filed a legal response today.  It states, his ex-assistant Melissa Wilhelmsen created phony sexual harassment allegations to extort $7.5 million, which is the amounts she's now seeking in a legal claim. Wilhelmsen claims she was under constant distress trying to keep the coach's extra-marital affair a secret from his wife.
