Senior DHS officials are now saying targeting the Venezuelan prison gang Tren de Aragua (TDA) is now a “priority.” While the gang seems to have a presence in various cities across the country, in Aurora, Colorado, police have confirmed that four suspects arrested in connection to a shooting at an apartment complex are all known or suspected TDA members and city council members are saying they are taking over their city. Law enforcement officials in Dallas, Chicago and New York have also reported increased TDA gang activity in their cities.
