A large part of the country is currently struggling from devastating flooding after Hurricane Helene left a path of destruction starting in Florida and stretching all the way up to the Carolinas. The death toll continues to rise above one hundred, millions are without power and as the flood waters recede residents of many towns are seeing piles of peoples' homes and belongings that were washed away. Over thirty people have lost their lives in Buncombe County, North Carolina which includes the city of Asheville which is still under feet of murky flood waters.
