Arizona Cardinals President MIchael Bidwill says his support for Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh is “not about the politics this is 100% about he is just a great person.” is getting backlash on social media for his recent support of President Trump’s nomination of Brett Kavanaugh for the Supreme Court. Bidwill supported Kavanaugh largely because he was classmates with Bidwill at Georgetown Prep outside Washington D.C. Bidwill wasn’t alone in writing the letter saying that he and all of his classmate “come from different political backgrounds , socioeconomic backgrounds, all sorts of things and all have different views. “
MIchael Bidwill organized his classmates for a letter of support that was sent to the Senate Judiciary Committee.Bidwill announced his support through the Cardinals official website.
The backlash on social media came from fans and members of the media. Fans asking why the Cardinals would get political and other asking that they take the statement down.
