Social media should really be for dog and kid photos, anything else is just asking for problems. There's just no way that sending out messages endorsing conspiracy theories, especially when you're an executive at a major company, will go over well. Campbell Soup's Kelly Johnston tweeted out that George Soros' Open Society is funding and aiding the migrant caravan making its way to the US southern border from Mexico. The foundation shot back at the company, writing, "Mr. Johnston, neither Mr. Soros nor Open Society is funding this effort. We are surprised to see a @CampbellSoupCo executive spreading false stories." The message has cost Johnson his job, with Campbell's saying they will push him out earlier than his pre-planned November departure. What's the craziest conspiracy theory you've come across on social media? Have you ever gotten in trouble for something you've posted?
