ICE to release "previously detained individuals" on the streets of Phoenix

Phoenix Police send out a Employee Notification System (ENS) message to all Police officers with information from Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) about the future release of previously detained people in the Phoenix. US Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) has advised the Phoenix Police Department that they will be releasing a number of previously detained individuals in Phoenix. Some of them may be wearing electronic monitoring devices, monitored by ICE personnel. These individuals are not under investigation for any criminal matters involving the Phoenix Police Department. Officers who may come in contact with these individuals are reminded to adhere to department policing concerning “Immigration Procedures “as outlined in Operations Order 4.48
