Rep. Adam Schiff (D-CA) is ready to to investigate President Donald Trump . The chairman of the House Intelligence committee made his announcement to anyone who would listen yesterday.
...will allow us to investigate an incredible allegation that financial interests or other interests are driving the decision-making of the President or anyone in the Administration. The American people have a right to know. and indeed, have a need to know that their President is acting on their behalf and not for some pecuniary or other reason that pertains to any credible allegations of leverage by the Russians or the Saudis or anyone else.”
Rep. Schiff says the American public deserves to know the truth. As a matter of fact I'm sure he has felt this way during his entire political career. Or....maybe investigations were a " waste of time," a "red herring," and a "waste of taxpayer resources." Those investigations are a waste when it comes to Benghazi.
"Chris, I think it's a colossal waste of time, we've had four bipartisan investigations of this already. And I think it's driven by a couple of things. The Republican conference is so fractured, there's only two things they agree on, they don't like ObamaCare, so they have fifty votes on that. And they do like talking about Benghazi, so we've had four investigations on that. But I don't think it makes sense really for Democrats to participate. It's just a tremendous red herring, and a waste of taxpayer resources."
