Study Proves That Officer Involved Shootings Have Nothing To Do With Race

A new study shows that there is no validity to the argument of racial bias in officer involved shootings. The connection is based on crime rates and race in a particular community. White cops are not more likely to shoot suspects of a different race and black cops aren't either. Officer involved shootings have everything to do with crime rates in specific areas. The more crime, the higher the rate of officer involved shootings. We need to stop accusing police of bias. No cop wants to shoot suspects. It doesn't matter what the race of the suspect is. Police work is very stressful. A split second decision could cost someone's life or someone's career. Scientific evidence now proves that those decisions are based on training and surroundings and not on the race of the suspect. Let's put the institutional racism conversation to bed.
