Sports gambling is coming soon to Arizona.
Governor Doug Ducey signed a bill passed through the state legislature that makes it legal to place bets on both professional and college sports. The bill also legalizes daily fantasy sports wagering as well.
It's expected sports gambling could bring in as much as $100 million annually to the state treasury.
Additionally, the updating gaming compact with the state's Native American Tribes will allow for four more casinos to be built on tribal lands in the Phoenix area in the future and more table games to be allowed at the existing casinos.
With this new sports gambling bill, ten Tribal casinos will have sportsbooks and ten sports teams including NASCAR will also be allowed to offer sports gambling.
You could be betting on sports by football season. And let's be honest, this is better than raising income taxes.
