A jury in Minneapolis has found former Police officer Derek Chauvin guilty on all 3 charges related to the murder of George Floyd including the most severe charge of second-degree unintentional murder.
The other charges Chauvin has been found guilty of include third-degree murder and second-degree manslaughter.
Chauvin, who had been out on bail, was taken into custody and will remain in custody until his sentencing hearing 8 weeks from now.
The jury only deliberated for ten hours before reaching a unanimous verdict.
